Duties and Responsibilities: Regular duties of a physical therapist include, consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms. They also teach patients how to properly use exercise techniques.
 
Salary: The median salary for a physical therapist is $85,400 USD
 
Education: All programs offer a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. The program typically lasts 3 years. Most programs require a bachelors degree for admission as well as specific educational prerequisites, such as classes in anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, and physics.
 
Demand for this particular career: Being a physical therapist is very rewarding. You get to work with patients one-on-one, see them progress through treatment, and know that you are really making a difference in their lives.
 
Reflection: Yes I would want to be a physical therapist because it would be great to see how my patients are getting better.
