''What's right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right. by Albert Einstein Most of the times people do bad things because it may seem ''cool'' or they want to impress their friends. They may also want to fit in with the popular kids so they want to look like they're bad or ''down'' for anything. A lot of people these days don't do the right because they don't want to look like a good kid. In my opinion I think that everyone should do what they think is right whether anybody likes it or not. Sometimes if your doing bad things to impress somebody you might get into trouble and those people you were trying to impress blame everything on you. So at the end of the day your the one getting affected by the choices you made. But by doing the right things and making right choices then you can go far in life.

''I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it''. by Dr. Ben Carson If your determined on changing something then you need to put all your effort and time into thinking of ways to change what you want, and this is what Dr. Ben Carson did. He hated poverty and was determined on changing it. It is not easy to change something but if you put all your effort into it and you have faith then you will be able to do whatever you put your mind into. For example, if you want to get an A on a test but you don't study or pay attention in class then how do you expect to pass your test?. In order to do that you will need to study hard for it and have a positive mind set that you WILL pass it.

Even if everyone is doing it, WRONG IS NEVER RIGHT'' by Russell M. Nelson This statement means that it doesn't matter if everyone you know is doing bad things because it still doesn't make it right and you shouldn't follow other peoples footsteps if they're in a wrong path. For example, if  your in class and one of your classmates are handing out a paper with all the answers to a test that your about to have and everyone is getting one but you knw its wrong to cheat then you shouldn't follow what everyone else is doing. You should be able to make your own choices and not copy what everyone is doing because if they get in trouble for doing the wrong then you will too. Right will always be right even if no one is doing it. You should know what is wrong and what is right. So its your choice to choose what path your going to take and don't let no one tell you what  to do or influence your choices. Even if everyone else is not doing good you should. Don'

''You can't be right by doing wrong; you can't be wrong by doing right'' by Thomas S. Monson If you are doing wrong things then you can't expect it to be right even if everyone is choosing to do the wrong. No matter if everyone chooses the wrong things you have to do the right because that's the right thing to do. If your always choosing to do the right then you shouldn't worry and you'll have a clean conscious. For example if your at a party and everyone is drinking but you know its not the right thing to do then your obviously not going to drink no matter how many people offer you some. If you know something is wrong then you shouldn't do it.

''Enthusiasm makes the difference'' by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale  I think this means that if you achieve the most in life you are activated by enthusiasm. So whenever you try and accomplish something you put effort into it because of the enthusiasm that you have. It also depends on your mood like if you are happy or joyful then you are most likely going to be in the mood to accomplish things. But if you are not in a good mood or mad then your not going to want to do anything.

'' I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right. - Dean Smith Dean Smith was a good man so he chose to do the right thing regardless. He did not know that he would get something out of it. He didn't care whether he was going to get famous or recognized. He just wanted to have a good team because he knew his players had potential. He saw more than just winning a game. He wanted his players to be intelligent, kind, and fair men. The dreams will come to you.'' I think that this means that you need to be careful on how you lead your life because you could easily do something wrong . But if you lead it the right way and do good things then karma will come back to you and you'll be prepared for your future. and If you have dreams then they will most likely come true.

School break days

On Christmas break I went to San Diego to visit some of my family members because mostly all my dads side of the family is over there. In thanksgiving some of my cousins came over and my grandma too. We all helped cook the turkey and the rest of the food. Then during new years my mom decided to throw a little party but she only invited mostly family and just a couple of friends. We all stayed up until like 3:00 in the morning. But we had a great time eating and hanging out with all our friends. The next morning I woke up like at 2 pm and I was so tired but it was worth it. Before new years I had a lot of Christmas money so me and my brother told my dad to take us to the mall and he took us to Montebello Mall. I bought 3 pairs of Hollister jeans, a pair of white vans and 2 Nike sweaters and i loved all my clothes. Overall my break was good but just a little boring because I didn't see my friends a lot. But i'm glad were back in school.
